Look for a menu item that says something along the lines of “transfer funds” or “add external account” on your old bank’s website or app. When prompted, add your Chime routing and account number, which you can find under Settings within the Chime app (which is where you’ll also find your recovery email).

We do not presently provide joint accounts or secondary cards. We recognize the importance of having a common bank account with a spouse or another individual, so we’re currently working on it. Keep an eye out for further information.

If you’d like to cancel your Savings Account, call our Member Services staff to keep in mind that once you close your Savings Account, your money will be transferred to your Spending Account immediately.

Although Chime presently does not allow for withdrawals without the actual card being presented, it is possible to withdraw funds using one of the first three options. having the physical card in hand is required for making a Chime withdrawal with any of the aforementioned methods.

You may link another account you control to your Chime Spending Account by using the Chime app or website. From the app, go to Settings, then “Link a Bank Account,” select one of the banks listed, and type in your other bank’s login information.
