You will not receive any funds in your Venmo account if you close it before they are depleted. Please keep in mind that closing your account does not automatically move money to your bank or return the funds to the original senders.
If you want to use Venmo again, you’ll need to open a new account and re-add your bank information.
Despite the fact that Venmo does not allow you to have two accounts with the same phone number, you may work around this problem by using the temporary phone number approach. You can use one of the two services described in Section The DoNotPay app or Receive SMS website – to accomplish this.
You can’t remove transactions on Venmo. You may, however, make them private. Log into your account and go to “Settings” to access the “Privacy” menu. Then, in the “Privacy” section of your account, change the settings as needed.
When you’re logged in from a computer, click “Cancel my Venmo Account” at the bottom of your profile section. You can’t cancel your account from the mobile app yet. If you cancel your personal account, your company profile will be deleted?
