You may occasionally want to start over with a new QuickBooks Online company. You can simply begin again as a new client. If you’ve used QuickBooks before, you’ll need to start from scratch.

Log in to your QuickBooks Online account. Select Yes to confirm the action. Select Wipe data on the next page.

The answer is no. Uninstalling QuickBooks does not delete your company files from your computer. It simply removes the QuickBooks application.

Search for “Control Panel” in the Windows Start menu and open it. Then launch Control Panel. Select Programs and Features or Uninstall a Program from the drop-down menu. Choose the QuickBooks Desktop version you’d like to remove from the list of programs. Remove may be selected by clicking on Uninstall Change after which Remove will be highlighted.

Go to accounts.intuit.com and have the customer log in with their account details. On the left side of the screen, choose Data Privacy. Continue on the Delete option on the right-hand side of the page. At the bottom of the page, select Make a delete request.
