What happens if you cancel or remove your account? After 24 hours of submitting your request, your profile will be permanently removed. Your communications will be erased, and you will not receive any more matches notifications via email.
If you cancel your subscription, Match promises to retain your profile information for at least a year so that you may reactivate. For “historical and legal reasons,” Match will keep your personal information for an unknown length of time.
If you have been banned, a system message will appear on your screen, asking whether you’d want to reactivate your account. Reactivating your account merely gives you access to the free membership perks and does not result in an active charge on your account.
Match.com allows you to cancel your membership via the website, iOS, Android phone, or directly by contacting Match.com. Select Account from the menu and then Subscriptions. From the list, select Match.com.
After that, tap the photo thumbnail in the header to reveal your custom visibility setting. You may choose whether or not to share your profile with anybody.
