YouTube is available as a specialized app for mobile phones. YouTube also extends its support to video game consoles such as the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Wii U, Sony PlayStation, and contemporary Microsoft Xbox. You may also note that the YouTube app for video game consoles is the same as the YouTube app for Smart TVs.

Nintendo Switch

The Nintendo Switch, developed by Nintendo and launched globally on March 3, 2017, is a portable system that you can take with you everywhere you go. The basic edition of the system costs $299.99, while the OLED version costs $349.99, which is reasonable given how crammed with entertainment the Nintendo Switch is. In addition to a touchscreen interface, the Nintendo Switch has Joy-Con controllers, which are the primary means of navigation. Motion sensing, conventional and directional buttons, and two analog sticks are all included in the wireless Joy-Con controllers. Nintendo’s consoles have a digital marketplace where owners can browse and download free and paid games and applications called the ‘eShop’. Nintendo’s eShop is available for Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, and the Nintendo Switch and their upgraded variants. We will be using Nintendo’s eShop to download YouTube on our Nintendo Switch.
